Sydney Sixers:

A seven-wicket victory against Perth Scorchers at WACA Ground on January 28, 20212, saw Sydney Sixers etch their name in history as the first-ever BBL winner. However, the Sixers had to wait another eight years to win a second trophy. In the 2019/20 season, the Sydney outfit overcame Melbourne Stars by 19 runs in a rain-affected final.

The Sixers’ latest BBL triumph came in the 2020/21 season. James Vince struck a brilliant 95 with the bat, while Ben Dwarshuis took 3/37, which included the prize wickets of Josh Inglis and Mitchell Marsh. They also finished runner-up three times in the league.
